  • Click on the Search button to initiate the EVG accident check. You will be directed to a new webpage that has a list of accidents reported for the vehicle.

  • If the vehicle has been in more than one accident, you can browse through the report using the ‘Plus’ and ‘Minus’ options. 

Note: EVG only gives information about vehicles registered in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah. It does not reveal any vehicle accident history for the vehicles registered in Dubai. 

Furthermore, if your vehicle that was registered in these 6 emirates gets transferred to Dubai, the information about the same will be lost. 

 

How to Check Car Accident History through Ministry of Interior (MOI)?

To check vehicle accident history using the Ministry of Interior website, you need to provide the chassis number or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). 

Similar to EVG, this website offers car accident information for vehicles registered only in Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain. However, unlike the former, the MOI website lets you check accident history of a car registered in any of the 6 emirates but transferred to Dubai.

  • Visit the MOI website and provide the VIN of the vehicle for which you want to check the details.
