What If You Lose Your Emirates ID Card?

UAE Government has established clear guidelines to follow if you lose your Emirates ID card. In case your card is damaged, stolen or lost, you need to contact the authorities and follow the steps mentioned below: 

  • As soon as you lose your Emirates ID card, you need to contact the Federal Authority for Identification and Citizenship (ICA) and lodge a police report. The authority will disable your card soon after your reporting.
