How Does Zurich Futura Insurance Work?

  • Futura insurance premium payments can be made as a lump sum or in regular instalments until age 96. You can choose flexible payment terms from 7 to 50 years (known as a "vanishing premium"). Premiums can be paid monthly, half-yearly, quarterly, or annually to suit your preferences.
  • The policy is available in USD, EUR, GBP, AED, QAR, and BHD. Payment options include UAE direct debit, standing order, cheque, credit card, or TT (for the first premium only). Single premiums can be paid by cheque or TT.
  • Premiums are used to purchase units in selected investment funds, with values fluctuating based on market performance. It’s important to understand the investment risks involved. A financial professional can assist in choosing suitable funds.
  • Regular premiums can be increased anytime, while decreases are subject to minimum amounts. Reducing premiums may affect policy coverage, and insufficient funds could lead to policy lapse.
  • Policy cancellations are allowed within 30 days of receiving documents, ensuring a full refund. Claims should be reported to Zurich as soon as possible, with potential medical record reviews or examinations required. Detailed claim procedures are outlined in the Policy Terms and Conditions.
