1. Flamingo Beach

The beach got its name from the two giant Flamingos that welcome you to the beach. It is also called RAK Beach (Ras Al Khaimah Beach), and it is in the midst of Ras Al Khaimah city. It is the first destination in the city where the people head to. That is why you will see a lot of tourists on Flamingo beach. Along the shoreline, you will notice multiple luxury resorts. You can use a day's pass to laze around at the beach, but it would be better to book a resort or hotel which has access to the beach. 2. Jebel Jais Mountain

3. Dhayah Fort

This is one of the oldest relics of the Ras al Khaimah territory. The Dhayah Fort is a 16th-century architecture made out of mud bricks, and this fort is situated about 20 km north of Ras al Khaimah city. 

The fort was built in a strategically advantageous position to defend the Gulf countries from any invasion. The ruins of other forts and watchtowers can be seen towards the south. 4. Al Rams

Around 12 km north of RAK city lies the town of Al Rams, which is home to the world-famous Suwaidi Pearls. These pearls are the most treasured worldwide, and they have adorned jewellery for decades. The business of Suwaidi Pearls was started by Rashed Al Suwaidi, who is from an ancient family of pearl divers who has been doing the work for generations. They farmed the pearls just near the coast.
